Best Singapore language slaughter EVER!
So every day my students borrow and return books. Today I got this linguistic jem.
Me: “Did you swap your book?”
Him: “I never do already.” (Him trying to say: I didn’t do it.)
I just love that….already he has failed to complete something he has never done before…EVER
